1. Before you start: move your funds

wen is non-custodial. We do not hold your funds and we cannot move them for you, which also means we cannot return them to you after your account is gone. Withdraw your balance, or export your private keys, before you delete your account. Once the account is deleted we cannot restore access to a wallet created inside it.

2. Delete in the app

In the mobile app: Settings → Account → Delete account. In the web app and the Telegram mini app: Settings → Account → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and to pass two-factor authentication if you have it enabled.

3. Delete by email

If you cannot sign in, write to privacy@wen.live from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you for information that confirms you control the account before we act on the request, and we will not ask you for your password, your 2FA codes, or your private keys.

4. What we delete

Your profile, username, email address, password hash, sessions, notification settings, marketing preferences, chat messages, theses, team memberships, referral relationships, XP, ranks, badges, and support correspondence held against your account.

Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request. Some records are kept for a limited period after deletion where the law requires it, or where they are needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud and abuse; these are retained under the periods described in the Privacy Policy at wen.live/legal/privacy and are not used for any other purpose.

5. What we cannot delete

Blockchain records. Wallet addresses, amounts, timestamps, and transaction hashes are written to public ledgers that wen does not control and cannot alter or delete. Deleting your wen account removes the link between you and those addresses in our systems; it does not and cannot remove the on-chain records themselves.

6. Deleting the app is not deleting your account

Removing the app from your device leaves the account and its data in place. Use the steps above.
