copy trading
mirroring a trader on spot or perps, every configuration option in full.
Copy trading automatically mirrors a chosen trader or wallet, across perpetual futures and spot markets, while you keep your own risk controls. Copying someone never hands them control of your account - they can't touch your size, your limits, or your funds.
finding someone to copy
- The external-wallet leaderboard.
- The wen member leaderboard.
- Featured traders.
- Individual trader profiles.
- Discover recommendations.
- Activity shared into the feed.
A trader's profile shows return and PnL across multiple time windows, time-weighted return where it's available, win rate, drawdown, trading volume, number of trades, active positions, historical positions and fills, the assets they trade, their risk and leverage patterns, follower and active-copier counts, and any relevant badges or rank. Everything is read from the venue - see Leaderboards & notifications for how that ranking actually works.
perps copy trading
Every one of these is configurable per trader you copy:
- Fixed amount per trade.
- Percentage of your available balance.
- Proportional sizing, relative to the copied trader's own size.
- Maximum allocation to that trader.
- Maximum position size.
- Leverage, or a leverage cap.
- Maximum concurrent positions.
- Allowed or blocked assets.
- Long-only, short-only, or both.
- A stop-loss override.
- Take-profit behaviour.
- Slippage tolerance.
- A daily loss limit.
- A total drawdown limit.
- Pause and resume, without closing anything.
Reusable copy profiles let you save a risk configuration once and apply it to more than one trader, instead of rebuilding the same settings every time you follow someone new.
spot copy trading
Spot copy trading is configured separately from perps copying, per copied wallet:
- Fixed dollar amount per trade.
- Percentage of available balance per trade.
- Percentage of total spot portfolio per trade.
- Proportional sizing, based on the copied wallet's trade size relative to its own account value.
- Maximum allocation to the copied wallet.
- Maximum position size per asset.
- Maximum number of concurrent copied spot positions.
- Allowed or blocked assets.
- Minimum and maximum trade size.
- Slippage tolerance.
- A daily loss limit.
- A total drawdown limit.
- Pause and resume.
When the copied wallet buys a supported spot asset, wen calculates your matching trade size from your settings and available balance, then executes the buy. When they sell or reduce a position, wen mirrors that sell or reduction proportionally against your copied position. All of it stays subject to your settings, your balance, supported networks and assets, available liquidity, and live execution conditions.
how execution actually works
- wen observes the source wallet or strategy.
- A qualifying fill from that source creates a copy instruction.
- Each copier is sized independently, from their own balance and their own settings - your trade isn't derived from anyone else's account state but yours.
- Orders are batched and protected with take-profit and stop-loss instructions.
- A failed copy for one subscriber never blocks a successful one for another.
- Duplicate source activity can't create duplicate copy trades.
- When the source closes or reduces a position, that's mirrored proportionally.
- You can stop copying without being forced to close existing positions, or stop and close together - your choice, either way.
Copy-originated trades earn a 1.25x wen XP multiplier on their fee-based XP, and it stacks with the trading-streak bonus. The full formula is on wen XP & rewards.
